Round 10 Race Report
Sunday we started the races an hour later than normal in hopes that the sun would come out and the rain would stop. However, the sun refused to shine and rain slowed to a heavy mist. These conditions did not keep the 11 Pee Wee and Super Pee Wee riders from tackling the mud and showing how their riding skills have improved this year. Michael Overstreet was the winner in the Pee Wee class, Brody Johnson second and Lane Bates third. Cole Bates crossed the finished line first in the Super Pee Wee class followed by Colby Burks and Brianna May.

The Youth Quads tackled the mud at 10:00 and all 17 riders finished the race! Zach Webb led the Modified class with Eric Bayne and Chase Hess close behind. Colton White, Clint McCorkle and Deanne Canipé were the winners in the 90cc class. Thomas Owen was the 70cc class winner.

When the 11:00 race started, Jon-Michael Rainey captured the holeshot and held on to overall the entire race! Congratulations Jon-Michael. Cody Jeffers was the Senior Mini winner. Junior Mini winner Mack Jones was followed by Jonathon Johnson and Brandon Chapman. Dalton Hall, Taylor Johnson, and Parker Jones were the top winners in the 65cc class. Samantha Veness, who made her racing début, won the Women’s Mini class.

The 1:00 race was won by Charlie Mullins, Glenn Kearney second, and Cory McDonald third. Steward Baylor was running a good race until he had the misfortunate of losing the pipe off his bike. Luckily, he was able to find it after the race. Landon Smith of the Open B class was the holeshot winner as well as the class winner. Congratulations Landon! Treve Foster was the winner in the 4 stroke C class. Jimmy Lynch and Wayne Beatty were the winners of the Golden Masters Class.

By 4:00, the rain had basically stopped, but the mud was going nowhere. Dustin Canipe and Kaleb Nicholson were the top Pro ATV riders. Marcus Pitts was the winner of the Masters class followed by "Wildman" Jerry Ledford. Andrew Church took the $100 holeshot award from the B 16-24 class. When the checkered flag waved, there was not one clean person that crossed the finish line.

Our next race is October 11 at Carolina Adventure World. Hopefully, we will have a beautiful sunny day to race. See everyone there!!
